30 more days...oh dear!! This means I had better get busy planning out my next stash buster project. Many of you were planning to attend our first spring retreat this past weekend. I had ordered in 3 different trunk show from Quince and Co. for your inspiration. They arrived inspite of the cancelation. Since you can not see these pieces in person, I am going to hold a virtual trunk show at the end of the week. Look for more details on that coming up.
Now to the next section of the Sampler Stitch Scarf. This portion will take us to the half way point in this project. The pattern I have chosen for this section will be approximately 10 inches in length and consist of 6 repeats of a 10 row pattern.
The pattern is called "Simple Checker Stitch." It has a very predictable repeat that is great for binge watching Netflix.
I have added a video for part 4.
I am the last 4 rows of seed stitch as written. You WILL need to increase across the first row of seed stitch in order to make the border edges match their previous rows. Because we started our original cast on with 41...we need to stick with an odd number to make things line up as they should.
The first row of seed stitch should include a KFB (knit front and back) right after the 4 stitch. If you look closely at the KFB after you complete it...one stitch looks like a knit and the other a purl, which works out perfectly as you follow the seed stitch pattern across.
I will add this to the PDF copy of the pattern.
Happy Knitting and stay healthy ( and sane...lol)
