I want you to be the first to know about upcoming changes in The Yarn Studio. In the fall of 2017, I restructured my Yarn Store to include a gift shop. I needed to find a way to make my beloved Yarn Studio survive in a time where manufacturers and shops are closing left and right.
My new gift shop is appropriately titled "The Farmer's Wife."
It is combination of items that are perfect accents for the home, to wear, or to give.
This venture has been extremely well received and is flourishing.
The bottom line is...The Farmer's Wife is flourishing and needs more of my attention.
This success comes at a cost to The Yarn Studio. Therefore, I will be closing the brick and mortar portion of The Yarn Studio. My goal is to move part of the existing inventory of The Yarn Studio to my online shop - www.theyarnstudiostore.com. It will take some time for me to get the inventory I choose to keep switched over. This move will ultimately provide a path for me to keep a foot in the creative world that I am so very passionate about but free up my time to further develop The Farmer's Wife.
What does this mean to you...the knitter?? I will be holding a pretty large clearance sale to move out the lines of yarn that I will not be stocking in the online shop. I have been very selective in my overall purchases for the shop so there will be some great yarns at clearance prices. By April 2019 the Brick and Mortar portion of the shop will be moved to online sales only. This will provide the extra space needed to expand of The Farmer's Wife store.
Behind the scenes I plan to promote and broaden my line of hand dyed yarn, "Clark Co Yarn Company". I still plan to teach private knitting lessons as time permits and formal classes will still be offered on occasion.
January and February will provide time for me to restructure. The Brick and Mortar portion of the shop will be open limited hours. However, our online shop will be able to meet your needs 24 / 7.
www.theyarnstudiostore.com (closed for the sale will re-open Jan. 1)
